Work: Documentaries

One of my first projects when I lept into full time self employment as a film-maker was to document Matt Pritchard from MTV’s Dirty Sanchez as he attempted to run the 900 miles from John O Groats to Lands End in 30 days with his two friends Matthew ‘Dykie’ Ryanand Leo Sharp. I shared the driving with Leo’s 7 month pregnant girlfriend Kirsty and filmed everything that went on. It was a mammoth task for the boys and with nothing to sleep in but a motor home, they all ended up in hospital at least once. I have by far enough material to make a decent documentary out of it with a bit of retrospective interviewing, I just need the time to go through the box of about 50 tapes. Anyone interested in funding the completion of this project should contact me directly. You can view the other teasers and blog clips from the trip here.

One of my regular clients the Watershed Media Centre commissioned me to produce this short documentary about their pan-European project ‘Engage’ which aimed to enable youth workers in Greece, England, Germany and Denmark to embrace social media & digital tools to enhance young peoples engagement with society.

I spent the summer of 2010 documenting the largest and most ambitious project to date from Bristol Old Vic’s Young Company. The project then led to a full length documentary from me to tell the story of the project.

VERY old clip this one. About 10 years ago a group of us made our way to EXIT festival to try and produce a short documentary about it. The festival has a great story behind it as it marks Serbia’s exit from communist rule. If anyone is up for doing it properly let me know!

To book me your best option is to get in contact via telephone or
email. I am very quick to respond with quotes. I have a full clean driving license and am willing to work anywhere in the world with experience currently all over mainland Europe.
